Things to do in London (Part II)

Let me continue from the last post.
To save time, we highly recommend for the Big bus tour!
You can drop off as and when you like and mostly importantly is valuable for money :)

So below are the lists of sight seeing places that we visited:

We visited Historic Royal Palace which is now one of the heritage place.
Look at the blue blue sky! So lovely!

Historic Royal Palaces
 Happy us :)

Tower Bridge
Walked further down, you will get closer to the Tower Bridge!

Closer to the Tower bridge and you will noticed that it is painted in a very nice shade of blue!

We took the Big Bus Tour package at 20 pounds each.
It allows you to travel on the bus as many times as you want within 24 hours.
The route of it brings you to all the sight seeing places like Buckingham palace, Big Ben, London Eye etc. The whole journey takes about 2-3 hours if you sit through without getting off.

London Eye

Magnificent Big Ben

The London Telephone!
 Buckingham Palace

Came here to see the guard who is always there motionless unless changing shift. haha

Since we are on free and easy trip, there are high chances that we went the wrong way and ended up at somewhere really beautiful. That's the joy but also the most frustrating part. haha
But nevertheless, I am glad we found this park! The view is really very very nice.
 The beautiful scenery.

The battle of Britain
This is so cute!!
Trafalgar Square
Trafalgar Square is named after Admiral Horatio Nelson’s defeat of the French Navy.
You will notice that that is a blue rooster and is a very prominent figure and it got me curious why so?
So I goggled:
Hahn/Cock is a sculpture of a giant blue cockerel by the German artist Katharina Fritsch.
Both ultramarine blue and the rooster are symbols of France, whose defeat by Britain at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 gave the square its name.
St Paul Cathedral
This is really magnificent and very pretty architecture you can find in London.
One of the most beautiful ones that I have seen.

Oxford Circus

Primark
Famous shopping store!
Everything there is quite affordable!
Not limited to these places of course.
We visited the London Westminster abbey too. The place where Prince William got married with Kate Middleton. There are just so much more about London that makes us really loves this place!
Need to add on! The hotel that we stayed is perfect!
The research for the stay is done by the husband and the price is little pricey I would say but he said is for honeymoon :) The hotel is called London City Suites By Montcalm. We stayed a total of 3 nights there.

PARIS - City Of LOVE

hello PARIS!
Is once in a lifetime to see the Eiffel tower.
Was so excited that day..but at the same time worried after hearing numerous horrible stories.
So glad that along the way we met nice people and spent the day exploring this magnificent man-made tower.

OUR TICKETS :)
The superb view from the top.
Was actually quite frighten after the phone incident.
Whenever i am super high up and away from the ground i feel fearful.
Do not even dare to stretch out to snap photo of the awesome view.

 loving this photo took!

i can just spend the whole night looking at it....

Next day was a 4 hours tour on a electric bike!
It is called the "Secret Charm Of Paris" tour.
Bought us to really the loveliest place and less touristy.
Told us many stories that even Parisians do not know.
Quite a challenged to ride the electric bike but totally did not regret it.
If ever i were to go back, i will go for the night tour!
The stairs that never cross each other path.
this used to be a fighting zone.
This is built by a king who deeply in love with a Japanese woman.
Similar along to Taj Mahal in India.
Ended the tour with a snapshot of our electric bikes :)
2 other ladies who joined us on the electric bike.
This pair of mum and daughter are from Washington!
We went out for lunch together after the tour and was blessed by them for the lunch.
I wish one day i can go to their farm one day to visit :)
Super nice, friendly people!
Us with the super hard sausages...
We thought it is "Singapore-styled" sausage initially... haha
 Duck Confetti.
Oh.. by the way, this restaurant is recommend by the tour guide!
Very authentic food.
a photo of 4 of us.
thank God for them :)
After the lunch, we went around to buy my macaroons, bags and more shopping.
My favorite flavor is rose!  Yummy...
Luckily this can be found in Singapore now!
Maybe one day when i feel richer i will buy one box of rose macaroon for myself. hehe
 Irritated by me!
Trying to snap photos everywhere, anywhere, anytime.
We were told that Pierre Herme Paris macaroon is way better than Laduree..
However, i like Laduree more!
The texture and sweetness is just right for us...
 yummmyyy!!
After that it all about SHOPPING!
Spent a bomb.. Shouldn't be buying but since I am already there and not sure when i will be back there thou.

Day 3 - Treated ourselves to nice lunch before we start searching for bags! oopss..

 The egg is so so......
Expensive egg!
 This is very very nice!
Though doesn't look appealing!
this come together with the set..
i selected the strawberry cause it looks really appetizing to me.
it wasn't as good thou.
 The Arc De Triomphe

These pretty sums up what we done in Paris.
A super short 3 days....
Will go back one day!
To visit the rest of the places of interest ONE DAY....
