Let me continue from the last post.
To save time, we highly recommend for the Big bus tour!
You can drop off as
and when you like and mostly importantly is valuable for money :)
So below are the lists of sight seeing places that we visited:
We visited Historic Royal Palace which is now one of the heritage place.
Look at the blue blue sky! So lovely!
Historic Royal Palaces
Happy us :)
Tower Bridge
Walked further down, you will get closer to the Tower Bridge!
Closer to the Tower bridge and you will noticed that it is painted in a very nice shade of blue!
We took the Big Bus Tour package at 20 pounds each.
It allows you to travel on the bus as many times as you want within 24 hours.
The route of it brings you to all the sight seeing places like Buckingham palace, Big Ben, London Eye etc. The whole journey takes about 2-3 hours if you sit through without getting off.
London Eye
Magnificent Big Ben
The London Telephone!
Buckingham Palace
Came here to see the guard who is always there motionless unless changing shift. haha
Since we are on free and easy trip, there are high chances that we went the wrong way and ended up at somewhere really beautiful. That's the joy but also the most frustrating part. haha
But nevertheless, I am glad we found this park! The view is really very very nice.
The beautiful scenery.
The battle of Britain
This is so cute!!
Trafalgar Square is named after Admiral Horatio Nelson’s defeat of the French Navy.
You will notice that that is a blue rooster and is a very prominent figure and it got me curious why so?
So I goggled:
Hahn/Cock is a sculpture of a giant blue cockerel by the German artist Katharina Fritsch.
Both ultramarine blue and the rooster are symbols of France, whose defeat by Britain at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 gave the square its name.
St Paul Cathedral
This is really magnificent and very pretty architecture you can find in London.
One of the most beautiful ones that I have seen.
Oxford Circus
Primark
Famous shopping store!
Everything there is quite affordable!
Not limited to these places of course.
We visited the London Westminster abbey too. The place where Prince William got married with Kate Middleton. There are just so much more about London that makes us really loves this place!
Need to add on! The hotel that we stayed is perfect!
The research for the stay is done by the husband and the price is little pricey I would say but he said is for honeymoon :) The hotel is called London City Suites By Montcalm. We stayed a total of 3 nights there.
