gynae check | national gallery

little LX went along for gynae checkup last week. she is so excited to meet her baby sister and she gets to hear her heartbeat so loudly. she is at this stage where she start conversing and ask question like “mei mei’s heartbeat right?” sometimes is quite fun to talk to her and laugh at her silly thoughts.

So baby LX2 is weighing at 2.1kg at #34weeks and she loves hiding her face from us even though she is super active kicking away in my womb. #dayrepregnancy
Was then told to do a blood test to check on my iron count and it dropped from 13 to 8 which is not a good sign. I always thought that having spinach in my everyday meal is sufficient enough. Apparently is not! I was told to eat lots of red meat like beef to increase and gynae prescribe me some iron pills to be eaten every night. No wonder I have been feeling giddyness on and off and the downside of taking the pills is that i keep having tummy ache and diarrhoea. Kept having to go to the loo.
since is the last day of the holiday, decided to bring her to the children festival at national gallery. this time round it is less crowded than last year and i don’t think there’s a lot of exhibit but since is free, still worth to go.
she loves running around and this space is perfect for her with all the ropes and obstacles that she needs to avoid.

There is another exhibit that allows them to use kitchenware as musical instrument but it was way too noisy and her papa was afraid that she will do the same in our kitchen but I thought it was quite fun. lol anyway we only spend like five minutes or so in that exhibit.
I thought this was quite fun too but it only kept her occupied for a while. 😅
this is her favourite out of the lots. she walked this scary path for like five times on her own!
colouring room and gets to hang up her art piece on the wall behind. she instructed the jie jie there to hang it at the very specific place that she wanted it to be hung! she communicated it to her three times before she was satisfied with it. lol
bonding time with papa and the last activity she did before we head off for lunch. I think she was already very tired and so just zoned out in the car without taking her lunch.
with a sleeping toddler = peaceful lunch. loaded with loads of beef that day! Suddenly felt like the good old dating days, we even managed get some shopping done for the hubs from Zara sales and grab some baby essentials from Mothercare and ELC.

Next few tasks for me to do is to sort out baby clothing, wash them, organise the nursery corner a little. It’s in a mess now! Feeling so lazy to do anything especially with the weather looking so gloomy and rainy. Just perfect for sleep in!
