...: 中秋节快乐

中秋节快了。

Better late than never, we had a corridor gathering just outside our house yesterday! Once in a while we will arrange steamboat with the neighbours and have it just outside the corridor.

There are a total of six units at our level and all of us have kids ranging from 1 years to 10 years old. They will come out to play during weekdays after their dinner together and can you imagine 10 kids in total hanging out together? Snatching each other toys and chasing after bubbles!

They do fight, cry then make up.

In times of emergency, the neighbours are literally just a few minutes away!

There are times where the hubs had to leave super early for work events, one of them offered to drive LX and me to my mum place in the morning two days in a row. And when I'm away for work trip, LX will be playing in one of the home while hub went to back to bath. Not to mention, they know we do not have helper and often even cook our dinner and bring it over to us.

They even provide me with some garnishing like spring onion, ginger for my fish when I do cook like once in a full moon. Haha! It's just so wasteful to buy cause I only cook that one time out of the whole month. We too help each other to collect our deliveries if we are not at home.

Definitely some form of kampong spirit can be found here! Super friendly bunch of people.

Back to the corridor gathering!

So we bought some DIY balloons from #taobao for the kids to do BUT ended up most of the adults are doing it.

when the kids are all playing, is hard to get them to take a photos together. I had to bring out some snacks to bribe them 😬

we bought out our little table for the kids to do the activity but they are more interested in playing with scooter, electric car and pushing each other around.

these DIY lanterns looks so cute and is come with LED light instead of the usual candles which is safe for the younger kids.
