Firework Cruise | Molly Cupcakes | Willis Tower

I'm so tired out after all the walking last week.

Shopping ain't easy when there are just so many choices and selection.

This week I'm packed with dinner events after work till the day I'm flying back. 3 more days to go!
Firework Cruise
Did a firework cruise on a speed boat and it is only available in the summer.

Back in March, we did an architecture tour and it was really good. Gave an insight on how the buildings are being built and the stories behind it.

A lot of movies like the dark knight, transformers and when Harry met Sally are actually filmed in Chicago hence all these spots got popular.

This time round, it was a brief walk through of the buildings in the night and fireworks got to be the highlight.
The speedboat have loud blast of music on and going at a very fast speed with water splashing at the side.

There was this granny who was seating behind me and she was holding on to the rail really tightly.

She felt like she gonna get blown away with the very strong wind slapping on our faces. She seems out of place but still it is a cute and funny sight to see. 😂
The night view looks spectacular with all the buildings captured at a glance.

The highlights got to be the fireworks, it is literally popping out right in front of our eyes.

Such pretty and beautiful fireworks.

I have never seen firework so closely before so it was really good thou it's short lived.
Molly's Cupcakes
This place is super cute, there's swing as chairs by the bar.

It's swarmed by stream and stream of people and being a sweet tooth, I just got to try it!
Lemon Meringue 🍋

There is lemon curd filling right in the middle of the cupcake.
Samose Cupcake

Vanilla cake, coconut custard, caramel dollop, coconut butter cream with toasted coconut.

Very unique taste I would say but I prefer the lemon meringue over this.

They have winning awards all over and rated the top cupcake in NYC.

Willis Tower (Sears Tower)
taking a rare selfie with my new bag ❤️
finally made it to the sky ledge at Willis Tower.
.
The view that I saw upon reaching. It's amazing.

Thank God that it was just passing cloud, it cleared up shortly after.
I was actually very looking forward to it as Willis Tower is the tallest building in Chicago but I kinda freaked out when I was there!

Almost wanted to walk off, I just couldn't bring myself to step on those retractable glasses at 1353 feets 412 meters.

For photo sake, I plucked my courage and sat on it without looking down. I even had trouble standing up thereafter! 😂
