Baby C

Dear Baby C, 

This is the first letter mummy is writing to you.

Thank you for the 3 months of being with us as a family.

The happiness to know that you exist certainly brings great joy to both of us.

Mummy remember feeling your heartbeat with her fingers on her tummy at very early stage.

This is so reassuring that you are all well inside me.

I even get papa to come and feel your heartbeat too.

I reminded papa to take a video of the scan during our first meet up.

Mummy can hear your fluttering heart beat and this warms our heart. 

At times, we do wonder if you are a baby girl or boy.

We do have in mind a name if you are a boy, this name somehow touches my heart.

I was telling papa that if I ever have a boy it shall be named Caleb.

Caleb is "faithful, devotion, whole hearted, bold, brave" in Hebrews.

So this shall be your name - Caleb Seng

Mummy misses feeling your heartbeat.

Misses the monthly checkup where we will see you waving and doing somersault.

Misses seeing the active you in my womb.  

You will not be replaced or forgotten.

You will always have a place in mummy's heart.
