Happy birthday to me! :)
This year, my birthday I am all the way at India - Noida for work.
Will be here for 2 weeks and I am glad I am half way there now, can't wait to get back home.
This morning, my boss prepared muffin with candles and even managed to set-up the facetime so that I can chat with my parents, sisters and lovely niece and nephews. Missing them all !
The rest of the day was "nua-ing" in the hotel, surfing net, watching movie in hotel and taking a short nap in the afternoon. Wanted to catch Dark Knight here but it was only available in Hindu version so we decided to give it a miss. Called room service for dinner - Golden Prawns and Stired Fried Chicken with Mushroom with white rice. I think I am now looking forward to have a good night sleep and start working tml :)
Thanks for all the well-wishes on facebook, whatapps!
Yest, I managed to visit one of the man-made seven wonders in the world - Taj Mahal.
It was built by the king to remember his third wife who died when giving birth to her 14th children.
She left the following words to the king - Take care of the children and do something meaningful in his life.
So the king have been wondering what to do and he decided to built Taj Mahal. It was magnificent and I love how the water reflect the pretty of the castle. Will add in photos when I am back in SG. Spent quite a fair bit of time there and the weather is killing me. It took me 5hrs plus just to reach there and another 5 hrs to head back to the hotel. Was totally exhausted at the end of the day.
We went to Agra Fort too. 25% of the place was opened up for visitors while the rest of the place are still being occupied by the military. From there, you are able to see Taj Mahaj too. Very beautiful sight (:
Definitely is one of an experience that I will never pay to visit out of my own pocket.
One more week to go and I will be back to celebrate my birthday with sbd (:
I am planning to hit the gym tml too after days of procrastination.
Another thing that I noticed here is the gap are really huge. The poor gets poorer while the rich get richer.
The living condition here is really bad and same goes for the traffic. I have seen little kids sleeping on the roadside, asking for money and knocking on the door car to ask for money. I have also seen some kids in hotel having pasta and pizza. These are the few difference that really touched me. My heart goes out for them. Why are they all kids but having such drastic differences! :( Oh. I saw many oxes in the road side too and as and when there might be a ox crossing the road. (:
That's about all for today! Will update photos once I am back :)
